Feralia
A Poem by Amy Hickman
What's in a name, another land,
neither which he knows.
Yet he wakes upon its grand,
so on through it he goes.
The shade of sun covers the sky,
and through it flies the beasts.
Each one he meets, he wonders why,
a truth, how his heart, it feasts.
All, save him, are half human,
and one he'd loved above all.
His name he's known since this begun,
to save them, he'll risk his fall.
